Daimler Super V8 LWB 2001 For Sale

Postby pgrant5 » Mon Aug 20, 2018 2:22 pm

After 22 years of not owning a Jaguar, last one was a Janspeed twin turbo XJ40. I finally purchased a Daimler Super V8 which I truly love, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I am now forced to now sell. My Daughter has been taken ill, and I have to move closer to her, and I will have no room to store the Daimler.
The Daimler was registered 2001 and has covered 94,000 miles. I replaced both lower wishbones, for the MOT which expires the 8th August 2019, I also had 4 wheel alignment carried out this week.
As you, can see from the pictures the car has sustained some damage to the near side rear quarter panel, which I think should be an easy repair as it is quite shallow and localised.
I have the full service history, and all the hand books, it also has a fitted tow bar, but no ball, if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.
I am looking for £2495 or very near offers for this fast appreciating classic.

Hi pgrant5,
Sorry to hear you have to sell your Daimler after waiting so long to get her.
Perhaps that time will come round again in the future.
I hope you get your asking price and not too many time wasters.
Good luck

Hi Andy,

Yes I'm a very unhappy about selling her, she drives superbly. Recently on a long run got 28mpg which I was quite pleased with. There is a couple of niggly problems, rear shock absorber bushes need doing, some rust on the rear wheel arches. But she is 17 years old now.

Kind Regards

Peter
