Water temperature sender 340 1967

Does anyone know the location of the water temperature sender unit on my Jag 340 M2 1967, a photo or diagram would be most helpful.

Isn't it in the top of the thermostat housing?

Coincidentally I have been looking for the same thing this afternoon on my '68 340 Auto.
Eventually located it screwed into the underside of the inlet manifold water rail near the thermostat.
It's almost impossible to see as there is a 1/2 inch flexi hose obscuring it which I think may be the vacuum pipe to the servo reservoir.
