Fuel Pipe Clips

Postby selminer » Sat Nov 21, 2015 7:53 pm

Hi
This is my first post so I hope that I have entered the question in the correct manner and place.
I am having difficulty in obtaining the small spring clips that retain the fuel pipe to the under side of the car for a series 1 1967 2 + 2. I think that their original part number was C26676.
These small clips hold the fuel pipe and then can be knocked through a small hole in the rib on the floor box section.
I also require the clips, same design but smaller in size, for the brake line. Original part number C27104.
If any member has any spare or knows where to source them I would be pleased if you would get in touch.
Thank you very much.

Hello Selminer,

this company sells a variety of clips suitable for the application you mention, :- http://www.automec.co.uk/collections/pipe-clips

They may not be as originally fitted, is that a concern?

Hi Selminer,
I suspect that the clips you are looking for could be the same as the early XJ. These are plastic and are secured to the floor by one Philips screw. Jaguar often have the same item under a different Part No.

I like others still have a need for certain of these clips for the XJ

I don't recognise the part numbers quoted but my XJ Series 2 parts catalogue shows a couple of items.
It looks like Part no C32746/3 suitable for a single brake pipe has gone over to CAC427 (a note says Dec 2010)

Part No C37627 NLA (no longer available) is/was suitable for securing one fuel feed pipe and one brake pipe - this is the part I need.

Don't know if that will help but did try

Hi Piman just looked at the suggested site and don't think the choice is quite right

Thank you 'piman' and 'old timer' for replying to my problem.
I will look into both replies.

Thanks again Peter
