Hi all,
as mentioned I am now the proud owner of my first XJS. It is a 1994 4.0 coupe with 106,000 on the clock and all the relevant paper work/service stamps from first registration.
I have already been busy sorting out the sagging headliner and thanks to the posts on the forum I did it without having to remove any seats.
I also took the passenger door card off because of a rattle from within. I found the back plate from the door handle sitting in the bottom of the door so that's now sorted.
Next few jobs on the list are a radiator recore or replacement and the seals replacing on the rear diff as there is a very small leak.
She is great to drive and I am really looking forward to getting out and about this year.
ALL the best
Kev

Hi Kev and welcome to XJS ownership.
I think you'll find here that's there's a lot of knowledge and friendship here freely offered. I also hope that you'll make the trip to Kemble to meet up soon. A trip but hopefully worth it! There's also a bit of a rule - we'd like some photos of your car please!
Regards
David

Kev,
Welcome to the club and to the Bulletin Board. And thanks for updating your membership record with your car details.
I've slightly updated your car details just to get the colours accurate - Ice Blue with Regatta Blue interior. Nice combo! With the body-coloured headlight surrounds and door mirrors, that's a good-looking car.
Enjoy the car, and the club!
Paul

Kev,
Welcome to the club and I hope you enjoy all that is going on in the Club. If you need any help ask on the BB as I am sure that there are answers here to most problems.
One of my cars is a 1995 XJS Coupe in Ice Blue metallic effect colour and Regatta Blue inside, so we have something in common.
All the best, Brian Harris.
