Cadwell Park 2007 CLASH!

Dear All
From the prelim. itinerary in this months magazine it looks as if XJS racing at Cadwell Park on 7/8 July this year clashes with Northern Day on 8 July. (Again???)
As you know I am a big fan of racing at Cadwell and thought an early heads up of how everyone felt about poss. support/ meet for these two events would be a good idea.
Unfortunately with Cadwell being where it is I guess a lot of "northern" folk might want to go to Harewood House??? Also I realise it's not the easiest place for those in the south unless you make a weekend of it
Personally I would love us to build on last years small but enjoyable meet at Cadwell, no surprises there then.........
What do you think

I would much prefer Cadwell Park, and intended to join you last year, but had to pull out at the last minute. I live in Norfolk, so either venue will be a bit of a treck, but then, isn't driving what jags are for?
I downloaded the web pictures of last years meeting, and I can see why you like the circuit so much. Put me down for this year.

8th July is also the British F1 GP at Silverstone. I quite fancy the the Northern day as I've not been before, but have no intention of getting stuck in the Silverstone traffic so as yet I'm undecided. I could deviate around, but it will make it a much longer journey from where I am. I don't mind that but work commitments will make the time short as it is

Its a shame they are both on the same day.
I missed Cadwel last year and promised myself I'd go this year.
However I love Harewood and if its a sunny day you just can't beat it!

With 7/8 July rapidly approaching I wondered if we had any definite takers for a day at Cadwell. I will be there on the 8th, not sure yet about the 7th. I am sure DH will be there (I may even manage to meet you this year if I am not late arriving again - lol).

All being well Libby and I will be at Cadwell Park again this year on Sunday 8th July........
It's a busy weekend what with JEC Northern Rally AND British GP with Lewis Hamilton in front of his home crowd........If he wins it will be brilliant!!!
It would be nice if they have a big screen at the circuit , but I'm not holding my breath.......... , anyway it should be a cracking days racing. I may even venture across the "far side " of the track for a close up view of the start/finish straight and the hairpin!
Is the XJS Series closer this year or is that my imagination?
I will have my forum badge in the windscreen, ('95 Jet Black 4.0 Coupe).
I look forward to seeing you (and any other members who can make it) on the day.
NB All being well we will be at the Paddock cafe for early bacon sarnies and coffee about 9 O' clock
