Not wishing to be a complete novice, where will I find the colour code label on the car? Sorry for that...

Hi Carl,
Paint & Trim Codes are on a label which is mounted just above the left hand headlight, visible when the bonnet is open. My apols, I only assumed you knew the codes because you had put them on your vehicle details.
Let me know if there's any problems finding the label.

being a 1989 car, the paint and trim codes are actually in the passenger door jamb ( UK ) just under the door striker on the body of the car ,
there will be a production number,with the paint trim code and interior trim code at the bottom of the label

Carl jumped into the middle of Paul's (Merlcole1) thread, but we can forgive him that being a new member!
Carl's car is a 1995, hence label under the bonnet.
