Hi Steve (6sabre),

Of course you can come - the more the merrier! I'm sure a turkey foil dish will do nicely - but don't use it for the sunday dinner afterwards!!

So that makes (so far):
1. thejpster (Jonathan, 1995 3.2 Sovereign LWB - engine willing!)
2. PopsJag (Steve)
3. stevejag (Steve)
4. stenatko (James) - maybe
5. TOJI (Jim)
6. 6sabre (Steve)

How about meeting up at Taybarns,(Cross Point Business Park,Gielgud Way,Coventry,CV2 2SZ)
after the museum visit?

That sounds OK. I need to pop to Costco while I'm in Coventry too.

Disappointed to note there didn't seem to be anything in the mag this month, either in the X300 section or the Events section. Unless I missed it?

Jim,
Look forward to meeting you, the wife & the car!!

Jonathan,
In reply to your disappointment, yes it does appear that I have neglected to add our events to the Diary - I have emailed Graham & he will rectify my mistakes. In response to the lack of information elsewhere, here goes:

1. 20 years of the X300 - BB on 24th March 2014 (my initial Query).
2. Coventry Transport Museum - BB on 25th April 2014. Mentioned again in Magazine p90 June Edition.
3. Eaton Hall Gardens - BB on 28th April 2014 (no takers - probably too short notice).
4. October Get-Together - BB on 6th June 2014. Mentioned again in Magazine p24 July Edition.
5. Meguiar's Seminar - BB on 23rd August 2014.
6. A Query regarding a possible XJ40/X300 Seminar was mentioned in the Club News in the Magazine (p7 August Edition). Mentioned again in Magazine on p23 September Edition.
7. Both October events were mentioned again in Magazine on p23 September Edition.

I will be putting more information on BB about October's Events, once the Coventry event is successfully concluded.

Regards,
Steve.

Thanks to theJPster for bringing this event to my attention. I couldn't find any reference to it in the July, August or September issues of Jaguar Enthusiast magazine. I confess, I don't normally use this bulletin board. I've added myself to the list below, as I would love to attend. Is this really all the number of people planning to attend. I'll put the word out amongst all the XJR owners that I know.

1. thejpster (Jonathan, 1995 3.2 Sovereign LWB - engine willing!)
2. PopsJag (Steve)
3. stevejag (Steve)
4. stenatko (James) - maybe
5. TOJI (Jim)
6. XJRengineer (Andy Stodart)

Please see my previous comment re mentioning events.

Hopefully the list will increase, but this is substantially more than the Jaguar factory Tour!!

Just to update everyone,

At the time of the original 'booking', the museum couldn't guarantee a guided tour. Since then, they have agreed to a guided tour - but this will mean a charge of £4 per person.

I hope that is agreeable with everyone, as I personally think it would make it a more enjoyable visit.

Looking forward to seeing you all there - hopefully with a bit of sunshine! :D

P.S. I am sorting out a Birthday cake to share with you all, so hopefully we can get together at the Taybarn (table(s) booked) and slice it up afterwards!!

Steve.

Steve

Based on our recent experience the guided tour is well worth the £4 charge, much useful info and crowd avoidance if it's busy.

Hi, do you have room for another X300? We have a 4 ltr Sovereign which left the factory on 16th September 94. We live in North Wales, so would be an early start, but sounds a great day!
Cheers, Andy
