2014 Season

Postby XjRestorations » Tue May 13, 2014 10:07 pm

The 2014 season of JEC racing has kicked off to a great start.
This is our first year as sponsors as the revamped Classic Spares - and it is proving to be great series to be a part of.
There are a couple of new drivers out this season that we wish the best of luck to - and look forward to seeing more members at the race meets throughout the year.

Kind regards,
Keith

Love watching the racing when I get a chance. Makes for a great day out and all the guys are very appreciative when you stop and say hello.

Hope to make one or two this year.

I urge you all to try and visit at least one race, really is great fun.

Next saloon/GT race is at Brands Hatch on May 31st/June 1st.
Its a great family day out, with other race series also taking part over the weekend.

The guys put a lot of effort into their cars - with some stunning machinery out there in the hands of some great talent.

Certainly agree,
Much better than looking at rows of static Jaguars

Maybe a show could/should be put together over a race weekend so that there are rows of static cars on display AND racing - appeal to both sides?

Sounds like a great opportunity for some Forum Event gatherings don't you think?

All you need are a few parking spaces, an iconic race track, and some racing Jaguars.

Now where do we know we can find those?? hmmmmm......

Happy to help if you need.

Nice place to get some S1 - S3 XJ's especially as quite a number of our race series are made up of those.

:)

Totally agree, what a great idea. We always go to the Jaguar events at Snetterton and have a great day out.

Sorry James - you are right - how very slow of me!
I have posted within the XJ Series pages, but WE have managed to get a great track side spot at Castle Combe on Sunday July 12th - where we are hoping to get as many XJ series 1/2/3 models as possible together.
Usual Castle Combe entry fees apply - book in advance and get a free paddock pass.
We are looking to gather at 10am trackside (with cars), for a mingle and mutual appreciation - followed by a day of great racing - including the GT & Saloon Jaguar Championship.

Get involved - and come along. Even if you don't own an XJ - come and see the racing and what the club can offer.

Any questions or queries - mail me at sales@jaguarclassicspares.co.uk

You might want to do that before the end of the month as the offer ends by then and you wont get one, even through us!!
