scratch in door glass

Postby Mugwy1 » Mon Mar 31, 2014 11:50 am

In recent high winds grit managed to lodge itself in the drivers window rubber which I hadn't noticed. As a result I've managed to put several long but not deep scratches in the drivers door window when I lowered it. Any suggestions on how to remove them as although not deep they are annoying. Thanks.

Here are a couple of ideas.

Alternatively, source a replacement second hand glass from a reputable breaker such as Eurojag. Have your Vin number to hand when inquiring together with the car paint code to be found on a plate inside the front passenger door shut.

Hope that helps.
