Re: leather colour codes?
Hi Dave ,
Cream leather was used by Jaguar for 96-97 it then changed to Ivory ,
look at the label inside the passenger door shut , amongst other details it should include the trim code ,
if it's NED then you have Ivory seats , NDR = Cream , AGD = Oatmeal
Hope this helps,
Nik

Re: leather colour codes?
Hi guys,
My newly-acquired XK8 has ivory trim, the code on the door shut sticker is NEC, but then after NEC there is a space and the letters KT. Can anyone advise what those extra letters mean?
Cheers

Re: leather colour codes?
In order the error in code is not perpetuated I will delete my post of 5/6/12 - corrected text below
John
I don't know - I was hoping that the Register Data would help in working it out, but most entries don't have the Paint & Trim Codes.
There are 238 XK's in the Register of them 28 have entered NED (Ivory) and an additional 61 have given Ivory or White without the Code.
Of all the XK's that entered the Trim Codes only 2 have entered KT. One being a '02 Platinum XK8 & the other a '02 Pacific Blue XKR. the XK8 had Warm Charcoal Leather Seats & the XKR Ivory Leather Seats.
I know this doesn't answer your question but it may jog members memories to go back & fully complete their Register entries and in doing so, may assist me in my quest.
Regards
Allan

Re: leather colour codes?
Alan/Nic
Thanks for your replies.
Nic is right and it was my error in entering the code - the code in my car is indeed NED.
Maybe someone else may be able to decode the KT bit.
