Crankshaft Pulley Bolt Torque

Postby stuarthardy » Sun Mar 04, 2012 2:55 pm

Can anybody point me in the right direction for the tightening torque figure for the main crankshaft damper/pulley bolt please? Doesn't seem to be in the workshop manual.

Thanks
Stuart

Hello Stuart,

That torque figure is certainly a best kept secret on the internet.

I did find one minor suggestion that the figure is 150 Lbs/ft, but was unable to bookmark and drop and drag onto this post for you.

Someone better informed than me on XK units must surely have that figure to hand. Perhaps Paul bell or Ken Jenkins can help?

Mike.
