electric seat

the passenger seat on my 04 xkr, has reclined back fully, and now wont go up!
I have checked the fused which is ok, i can hear the solonoid click when i try to go further beck, but nothing going forward, if that makes sense.
any ideas as to the problem? or better still, a cure.

Hi,
Having had similar problems to the one you describe, the solution of which was nothing more than a loose connection. Under the seat you should find the seat module and its plugs. Unplug them, ensure the connections are clean and then reseat them. Try the seat then. Failing that you may have to look at the switch.

as above, but you can also try swapping over the seat module, they are the same
