steering upgrades

Has anyone that has changed their steering to rack and pinion any coments on the result? Any pitfalls or advice would be most useful.

Hi

I considered this a while ago, but Ken Jenkins advised against it saying the geometry would be all wrong.

I was advised to fit a 420 front axle to use its later Marples power steering box which would include the better 3 pot girling brake calipers.

All aspects were worth the change.
