Code for stereo

I had to replace the earth strap on the battery as some numpty had broken the end and secured it back on the battery with a jubilee clip! Hence the stereo is now asking me for a code, which isn't in or on the books I have. Is there a way to find this out or have it reset?

Take the registration Document V5 to your local Jaguar Main Dealer and they should be able to find the radio code from the Jaguar Computer.

as a tip, this might help

it is most unlikely that your stereo will get stolen, as it will only fit another jag,

i have written the stereo code on the battery bracket inside the boot, so , if i ever need to isolate the battery , the code is at hand when i need to enter it,

I phoned up my local Jag dealer, gave him the last 8 digits of my VIN and he gave me the code!
I've written it down in my handbook for future reference.
