Outside Car Cover

Postby xk82002jaguar » Wed Aug 13, 2008 7:37 pm

Bought cover from main stealer 8 months ago. It ripped due to winds within 2months took it back to stealer who replaced it after 3months. 3 months later it has ripped again in the same place by boot strap. So I would not recommend them. Can anyone recommend a cover that can cope with todays winds.

I suggest you contact Chris Dash at http://www.thecovercompany.co.uk/
He should be able to suggest a cover for you.
He can also supply long straps which provide extra security in windy weather

I purchased a car cover - Noah fabric - from a US supplier, tailor fit for the car, at half the price of the UK including shipping.
No need for a extra long security cable and lock as it is a tailor fit. Has never moved off the car even in the very high winds
Highly recommend

Please E-mail the details of your USA supplier. I have a Noah fabric cover which will need replacing soon and your price looks most interesting !!

I ordered it at least two years ago from CarCoverWorld. I see today that pre shipping/taxes etc the cost is USD205.
