It's around £440 down here in Somerset.

The 60k service interval is the one with the spark plug replacement right? If I were you I'd purchase my own (of the same brand and spec) and supply them to the dealer. From memory main dealers charge around £20 per plug when you can buy them for around £6 (there are 8 remember so this is your highest cost item. Even the magnatec (semi synth) they supply is double the price you can purchase it at Halfords for so I'd supply my own oil too.

That should save you over £100 straight off and won't void any warranty and I don't think the dealer can refuse you...however their smirk at making exorbitant profits will be removed :)

Thanks George... I suspect I will give them a try....

Have you used them for any specific non routine work... like chains or auto box oil?

Hi David,

If you live on the North side of the City and are not already fixed try Charles Leslie Cars 01674840745.

The workshop is in Edzell 30miles North of Dundee.

I have also found their repair charges most reasonable.

Regards,

Twiceam

Hi there...

Thanks for that - I had forgotten about Charles Lesley - I did look at a car there before Ibought mine.

I am really surprised that there is no one in Edinburgh.... or Glasgow for that matter!

David
