:) See you in France! I'm sure partners and wives will ensure there's some variety in conversational topics. Lyon la Foret is a great location with lots to see and do. It will be something to look forward to after all the slip sliding of winter motoring in torquey cars fitted with wide rubber. Mike.

Thank goodness its not just me, during the time I have owned my XK I have'nt smiled so much since I was on my honeymoon, oooooh! and the joy to be had from polishing! As to the magnetic problem that seems to occur more frequently in supermarket car parks, my solution such as it is, is to park BETWEEN 2 car parking spaces (thereby taking up 2 places) in a quiet part of the car park, greedy it may be and you get a few strange looks but I had the usual problems with my X300 and vowed I would do whatever it takes to protect my baby this time.

My wife is not happy with the extra walk on cold/wet/windy days but there is always a price to pay and I feel its worth it.

Hmm, must try this trick. Mike.
