ADVERTISED ON EBAY AT THE MOMENT

BUT ANY OFFERS CONSIDERED.

dogbitedavie,

I sympathise that you feel that one of the cars has to go but needs must and all that.

Good luck with the sale, but I bet you'll get withdrawal symptoms and you'll be back in the fold soon!

Even without the XJS, you're very welcome here on the Bulletin Board and also at events. (Just don't taunt us with the performance of your XKR or we'll tell you that it looks like a Mazda MX5 from the front!)

I even went to the XJS seminar at the weekend in my XJ8!

Thanks Paul,
its a case of too many cars, and not enough room to store them or time to use them.
I must say the xjs has been great to use, and I dare say that another one wouldn't be out of the question in the future! (a full convertible next time I think)
I'll keep an eye out for any trips your planning (what happened to booze cruise?) and might pop along in the mx 5 lookalike (indeed!!)

cheers
dave

You will be welcome here, and also at Arties Mill if you care to trundle along the M180 any 3rd Monday. Tony Ridge will be speaking on 15th Feb. Decent food available before , or 8 for 8.30. See Lincs North link.

Jolly bad luck, Dave - I'm sorry to hear about your pending loss!

It's quite an interesting XJS, yours. It looks pretty good as it is but with the minimum of work could be a very nice low-mileage top condition example.

Hopefully another enthusiast will buy it and continue the work to turn it into a minter.

Good luck with the sale.

My same feelings Dave.I sold my Celebration about a year ago and have regretted it ever since.I am now on the lookout again for another one and will sell my D6 or Super V8 to finance it.Definitely the best model car i have driven and hopefully i will be back in the fold again soon.
Thanks Graham

Well, sold via good old e.bay,
just waiting for the chap from Devon to pick it up, sounds like he will look after it, tells me hes just restored an xk150 !
i will use my xkr for a while, but think I will eventually return to an xjs!
