clock in dash

hi all
i have just noticed that my clock in centre of dash does not light up thing is i dont know if it ever did or is suposed to my wife asked me the time to which i replied , are you blind theres a clock there you can guess how this went on
any way does this have a back light. I did fit new battery last week have i blown a fuse (like the wife did!!!!)

Yes, the clock should have illumination. Mine has also just stopped working. To get to the clock, I think you need to also carefully take off the passenger veneer and then come in from the LH side.

If I do it first, I'll let you know. Otherwise, I'm sure BB or others will post and tell us both how it's done!

Doesnt the clock only illuminate with the side lights on.......some think it doesnt work until they try it with the sidelights on......
