Paint code?

Been hunting about and trying to find where the paint code for my car is? there is a plaque on the drivers side of the engine bay with a list of codes is it one of them?

need to know year and model of car, but in general the paint code is a three letter code, in the box marked paint, this can also be found on the left hand b post of some cars

Thanks, seemingly on the 308's (XJ8) its down towards the nearside headlight on the front panel - in my case this has been over painted with under seal or something like that anyway I emailed jaguar customer service and they kindly replied with the paint & interior codes - Anthracite pearl metallic 1859 with a cashmere interior. They also told me they hold service records up until 2005 - after that the owner took the car to an independent.
