Drivers Side Window Remote Control, 1997 XJR V8.

The remote control "one touch" on the drivers side window operates
downwards only.
Is this as it should be ?

Yes, the button needs to be depressed to put the window up - at least on mine it has to as well.

yep correct my V8's are the same
