trim between door and window

trim between door and window

anyone any idea how to remove the thin bit of trim on top of the door panel and window mine seems to be oxidising at the back thus pushing the trim out . wondered if it was big job to take off and clean or put new ones on and wat cost cheers s&t :?:

will do joe . car booked in with alan for next month to have underbody etc treated and dolled up. will let him sort it ! didnt fancy poking around door with screwdriver anyway.thank s&t

A bit of a late response but for future reference....
The trims just simply lift off! Just replaced all four on mine,everyone badly corroded.Could`nt find any decent ones second hand so ordered them from the stealers.Chrome ones,like mine,were £38 each but if you want the black ones....................£300 each!!!!!! :shock: God knows why,not even the bloke in the parts dept could believe it or explain why.

Crazy situation but obviously its cheaper to buy the chrome ones and spray them black...........oh the joys of Jaguar.... :lol:

I went to lancaster in sidcup last week and they wanted £200 for a pair of rear wasit seals for mine. One side was about £78 and the other side was £120.00. And even the spares chap said he couldn't explain the price difference.

Hello.
I got a full set from the USA for a total of £120 and delivered with in 5 days :D . So well happy with that. a pain to fit the fronts as you need to remove the wing mirror. But all done now.
