Welding in North Yorkshire

I recently acquired a 1999 X308 which requires some welding repairs to sills and probably a new (or reconditioned) rear subframe. Can anyone recommend a repairer in the North Yorkshire area who may be able to tackle this, sympathetically and for a reasonable price relative to the value of the car?

Hello Grey0610 and welcome to the forum.
Sorry I can't recommend any welding companies up in Yorkshire I'm all the way down in Devon.
Perhaps if you went along to one of the regional meetings and ask there you might be pointed in the right direction.
My own personal opinion is the X308 is a car well worth keeping and looking after .

For a '99MY (you don't say whether it's a 4L or LWB, or with all the toys fully fitted) it'd be difficult to have that work done for "a reasonable price relative to the value of the car". It'd be the same price on a 3.2L '01MY and later, or LWB, or 4L, or with all the toys.
