Hi all,
My name is Gabriella, I'm a new member of the forum, I showed up in the appropriate area.
I'll have to completely repaint my X308 and to do that I want to disassemble everything as much as possible. I'm in possession of the workshop manual of this car, but I could not find the procedure to remove the chrome roof mouldings (or drip moulding finishers parts HNA5701BE and HNA5700BE).
Does anyone know how they are fixed? I think they are glued with the double-sided adhesive like many other parts, but I would like a confirmation if it is possible.
Thanks at all.
Gabriella
Drip moulding finisher
Re: Drip moulding finisher
Hi Gabriella,
I know the XJ40 ones have screws and the X350 has clips but I'm not sure about the X300/X308,there's no mention of any fixings on Jaguar Classic Parts or in the workshop manual. No. Description
1 + B/C-post finisher
2 + Drip moulding finisher

Perhaps it is just stuck on in which case it will require careful removal.
I did find this in the workshop manual though,It say's it for exterior trim removal.

Re: Drip moulding finisher
Hi Andy, thanks for your answer.
I had read the description on page 2100 of the workshop manual, but it also describes handles and tweeters that I do not understand what they center with the chrome strip that frames the roof.
However are described some fir three fastener.
It would help to see how the parts are made or to talk to a coachbuilder who has already changed one.
Thank you for help.
