Can anyone tell me what my paint code should be

For some reason the paint code sticker on my car simply has the letter M. Can anyone help tell me what colour it is and the paint code or how to get it.

This is a MY2000 colour chart. On the same site, the 1999 chart does not show a blue which finishes in the letter M. Your plate appears to have the first two letters worn away so that doesn`t help.

Assuming your 1999 car was finished in MY2000 series paint and referring to the cart for the year 2000, JHM looks to be a fair match for your car. It appears to be the only blue which finishes in the letter M. Obviously check before buying paint.

If you are after spray touch up cans for your Jaguar, the colours are unlikely to be found on the standard paint racks in motoring outlets. However, the good news is that Halfords will mix spray can paint to order if you provide your three letter paint code. I have found their product a good match for my own car. Specially mixed cars cost around £16 each but note that the paint is a finish and gloss coat all in one. Jaguars of recent years have a colour and a gloss top coat applied from the factory so effectively using an all in one paint may cause some slight issue where blending in is concerned.

If you just give your VIN to your friendly jaguar dealer, he'll be able to look up the build details on your car incl. colour.

JHM is Pacific Blue which looks very similar to your photo. However, don't buy anything until your dealer has confirmed the colour.
