Thought I'd share with you my exhaust trims.
Just finished polishing them with my bench grinder and polishing mop.
Didn't think they would come up this good.

Very smart! You were lucky to get them off. The securing screw is usually rusted solid.

Hi Brian,
Yes,I think for once in my life luck was on my side :lol:.Mine were all stainless even the small allen screws that secure them so I guess that helped.
I'd like to think also that it's a testament to the way the car has been looked after through it's journey to me,It all seems good so far.
I plan on keeping the car so I shall work my way through it ending up with a full paint respray,it's starting to show it's age with the lacquer peel problem on the roof and boot lid but I've seen a lot worse,it will do for a few years yet though.

Looks good :) ,I tried to find twin pipes but all the ones I found were too big :( .
Were did you get those ones from?

sorry for the delay - just cheap finishers of ebay

had to trim driver side pipe a little and got new clips as the ones supplied are terrible!

the look quite good and all for under £30
