Steering wheel swap, X350 > X308 ?

Hi,
The steering wheel on my recently acquired '99 X308 is looking shabby (suspect the previous owner wore a large / heavy ring). I found a replacement wheel at Stoneleigh last weekend, but upon getting it home realised that it is for an X350. Looking at the two wheels side by side they appear the same size & shape, but does anybody know whether the splines are the same or different? Assuming the new wheel will fit, any other reason why it might not be compatible with an X308?

it may well fit, but will the airbag fit as well??, and, is the 350 airbag cassette in the wheel the same, I think not, you will also have issues with the cruise and other various steering wheel mounted controls imo

sounds an improbable swap to me,

let is know how you get on

and, be very careful when playing with airbags, the are essentially small bombs and WILL hurt if the go off
