Could someone confirm that front discs are indeed 305mm x 28mm (5 Hole Fitting) ?

Had a look through the threads and found that there's reference to two possible sizes ...
Autosessive says that theirs are OK as above but just want to make sure. The charts
referenced in 2012 threads in here are no longer.

They do the complete lot for £88 inc for the fronts (Delphi brand) with the pads.

See from car's history (this is Ludlow, the eBay bargain after all  ) that
main dealer reported in May '09 front pads worn to 3mm 60771
main dealer changed in May '10 front pads 65428
indy changed all pads in Oct '15 103075
No record of any previous discs' change out

Got front brake vibration that only shows itself at about 45mph or above. Miles now is 115070.
This became noticeable about 200 miles ago

Hi Richard,
The standard size brake disc for our XJ8's is 305mm front and back,I'm pretty sure the 325mm went on the non Brembo XJR's with 305mm on the back using the single piston caliper front and back, the 355mm is for the Brembo option package for the XJR with 325mm on the back using twin piston calipers front and back.
The first XJR's used 305mm but was changed to 325mm after Vin No 853936.
You could always measure them to be sure though :)
Hope that helps.
Andy :)

Thanks Andy, very useful info

As I was going to change out, for laughs drove for a couple of miles with my foot lightly on the brake but just enough to feel drag. Low and behold the judder's nearly gone -- well at least much reduced -- so wondering whether there's grit stuck between pad and disc. Or is it the caliper pistons moving out ?
Had hygroscopic check on brake fluid soon after I got it. And was told brake fluid flush wasn't necessary

Will have a better look as soon as my friendly shop with a lift has a free moment
Ever since they've started doing MOTs they've been fully booked. It's got rolling road
But they think at 114k should change discs anyway. At only 13k miles it can't be pads they add

Bests

Just had MOT and ne'er a mention of brakes.
Appears even more sharp now than when it went in for the test
So guess it must've been dust build up or sommat.

Still a bit of judder at higher speeds' braking though -- but much less than what there was
A full on brake at 70mph (indicated) gives a streight and true brake without any judder at all. Hmmm... :?:
