hi guys
having acquired a beautifull xj8se recently,my main concern was with the replacing of the gearbox oil+filter.i needed to get this done as there is no records of it being replaced.i was however very surprised at the cost aprox £300.+vat.
after a small amount of research these are my results.
i have acquired 7 litres of esso lt71141. now branded as mobil for £7.60 per litre
7 litres inc. delivery worked out at £62.68
i found this on ebay; his user name is theappledorn.
hope my fellow club members can benefit from this.
now all i need to know is where can i source a jaguar gbox oil filter + o ring. cheaper than i would get it from jaguar.any ideas?
