2001 Daimler SV8, stored 5 years

Hi All,

Just about to get my Daimler back on the road after 5 years storage. New battery and started first time after 3 years of nothing.

Drove round the farm track where it's stored and all works fine. So, shortly off to Wiltshire Jaguar where the excellent Paul Titheradge will check it out thoroughly, change all fluids, filters, etc.

I believe the gearbox is a Mercedes variant on the supercharged cars so some of what I've read in this section may not apply as mostly it relates to ZF boxes.

So, apart from changing the transmission fluid (and rear diff oil), is there anything else that should be contemplated whilst the bottom's off the box. The car has done 109,000 miles.
