Gearbox oil change for R-model

Hi all,

changed the fluid + filter for the M-B gearbox found in supercharged cars. I discovered following things while searching for data:

At least up to 2000 models the M-B box has a drain plug for the converter also. The converter holds appx. 3 liters of fluid so draining it makes a big difference to the total amount - I drained 8.2 liters totally.

Furthermore, I couldn't find the exact Shell fluid here in Finland. I went to an independent M-B parts supplier and found suitable fluid that fulfills the M-B spec. 236.10 - the brand is febi(Ferdinand Bilstein) Nr. 22806, which is a Dexron III type fluid. Price here £7 per liter.
