simultaneous electrical problems...?

Hi, see if anyone has an idea on the following:
the electric windows, the interior lights, the boot light have all started to fail.
On top of this, the J-gate is locked in parked (now driving it with the use of a screwdriver to get in gear).
The heat in the climate control has vanished (when setting at, for example, 28 degress no heat is coming).
There is also a relay or similar "clicking" under the dash.

Is there a possibility that there is a connection between these problems?

The one thing that connects all the symptoms is the battery, we do get lots of problems that are battery related.......it covers a host of problems and is easy to correct......dont always settle for cheap alternatives a branded well known make with a garuntee is good ........
Just because your current battery starts the car every morning dont take that as gospel........have it properly checked out ......the old drop test found problems that new gadgets couldnt find ......like a dead cell.......Joe
