Indicator - 2002 XJ8 SE

Hi all,

I have a 2002 XJ8 SE and would greatly appreciate any advice on the following.

The front nearside direction indicator has stopped working and I have checked the existing bulb which is good and tried a new replacement but it is still is not working. I now want to check the relevant fuse but have been unable from the 'XJ Series Vehicle Care' handbook to trace which one it is. Can anyone assist or offer any other explanation or remedy to fix this, please?

Are the connections in the N/S/F indicator bulb holder good? Is your N/S/R indicator still working? And the repeater on the front wing?

Have you checked the earth? The earth posts are a known weak point

Hello Case and welcome to the forum.
I don't think there is a fuse for the indicators as they are powered by the Body Processor Module (BPM).
Check the ground points as David has suggested,here is an extract from the XJ 2001 electrical guide showing the ground points.

It is only the front nearside indicator that is not working; all others are okay. Connections on the bulb holder all seem clean too. Thanks for the advice on the fuse & checking the earth points & the diagram supplied will help to check this out. Will post an update when hopefully sorted.
