On XJ8 4.0L N/A i've got a leak on the plastic recovery tank located under the front LH wing. I believe it to be at the pipe inlet connexion. Looking at the tank there's an inlet orifice at the top of a raised boss located centrally (foto). Was trying to find out what the nature of the pipe connexion to the tank is at this orifice.
Has anyone removed a tank or secured this connexion? Would appreciate any advice. Intend to remove the tank but would like to know what i may encounter and any snags to look out for. Any advice appreciated. Rgds. Charlie.
