i am a member of the aa ( the breakdown cover not the drinking one )
i added my girlfriend onto my membership the other day and was told about a service they do called breakdown repair cover.
they sent all paperwork and i have read it thoroughly.... this is roughly it;
£8 per month, in event of a breakdown i phone them , they send a patrol man, he says for example........ your alternator is broke or your gearbox has exploded ( as long as its a breakdown and you cannot continue your journey ) the aa will pay the first £500 per claim ( max 5 claims per year )
they will take your car to your garage of choice anywhere in uk for free for the work to be carried out, even said in the event of requiring a new battery they will pay upto £500 to get me to a jag dealer and have a new genuine jag battery fitted ( upto £500 per claim ).......any mechanical or electrical breakdown is covered.
your thoughts and opinions ????
