Stability Control and ABS warning

Hi, I have my 1999 XJ8 SORN at the moment but while off road, I have changed the engine oil. When I started it up to get the oil up to temperature, I noted that the instrument panel came up with the message about 'Stability Control issue' and the 'ABS' light lit up. Reading some other Jaguar Forums, it has been suggested that it is down to the battery. In my circumstance, I can't see how this can be, as the battery is only two years old and when the car is not in use, it is connected to a CTEK charger. Anyone got any other suggestions?

Tis largely irrelevant how old the battery is or whether it has been on a maintainer, it still needs to checked. Should the battery prove to be ok then move onto the wheel sensors and reluctor rings.
A code reader will help point you in the right direction should the above not prove fruitful.
