XJR Performance upgrade Air Filter / induction system

K&N agents in the UK sell uprate inuction system parts for the Jaguar V8 engine. I have a K&N panel filter fitted to my 4.2 V8 and previous to that, a similar unit on my S-type V8.

Personally, I would avoid a cone type filter unless you put it in a box and continue to draw cold air from outside the engine bay. This is a point often lost on engine tweekers. Performance WILL be lost if hot air is drawn from the engine bay.
