Service?

I would be interested to know what members think on whether it will be necessary to 'service' my 1999 XJ8 3.2L after a year and just 1,200 miles. It has been in storage since March 2020 and is due to return to me on 1st October.

Service? YES! The oil will be oxidised with time - not just mileage - and no doubt has lots of condensation in it from the likely short trips it will have done at that low mileage. Annual oil and filter changes are good practice.
