P0155

Not sure if anyone can assist, but I had an issue with an oxygen sensor on my 1999 XJ8 3.2L as code P1647 came up on my diagnostic reader. I had a local independent Jaguar dealer change the unit. Initially, after it was undertaken the car seemed better in acceleration and was more responsive. However, after a week or two, it felt sluggish again and when I did a diagnostic check code P0155 appeared.
I took it back to the same garage and they indicated that they couldn’t find anything wrong and that as it hadn’t brought up a fault light on the dash they didn’t investigate further. As you will appreciate, I was not impressed. My problem is that I need to find someone who understands this issue and can advise me accordingly. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a transient if the garage couldn't find anything wrong.
Has the fault code now been cleared?
If so, how many miles since it was cleared?
Has it returned?
What diagnostic tool are you using?
