Recently had my tensioners changed on my 99MY 3.2 after one failed (see entry under that topic) by a "specialist" garage. Despite much oil flushing by the garage the car now shows a low oil pressure warning. The garage don't want to know (having been paid) but the odd thing is that there is no warning light while the oil and engine are cold. Once at normal temperature the light comes on but only on idle. I wondered whether they may have put the wrong oil in but won't know the answer till I change it myself and try again. In the meantime, does anyone have any inspiration?
Low Oil Pressure
suggestions
Vince if it is the wrong oil dont run it......try changing it first, and the filter and check the oil sender switch wire is connected (if 308s have an oil sender switch) .........just a thought .....Joe`
