True in all cases I think! We see lots of £500 XJs that need £1000 plus to make roadworthy. The customer is often horrified - its often their first Jaguar.
They may be cheap to buy, but are still a complex £30,000 plus car!

try selling an ' expensive ' one though , lol
and trying to convince the buyer that your car is worth more than the one down the road thats £500 cheaper,,,,,

The lower price gets you one on the drive, pay more you might even get to drive it!

i think it depends on whether you are a 'hands on' enthusiast or not
