well , after eight weeks, she now has an MOT

not easily done, as a new ECM was required , the old one wasnt switching on the lambda sensors, so the emissions were sky high, , a repair was a no-go, as no one wanted to touch it

then , after six weeks sourcing the ECM it had to go back to jag to be married up with my car,

tonight she passed the MOT with flying colours, while laid up i took the oportunity to totally under-seal the car, making it last for another two years of rust free motoring

top marks BB

when i went for the mot last august shortly after getting her and the mot man said he had never seen anything quite like it, shiny nuts and bolts etc,
this year however, one rumbling wheel bearing and one with an advisory bit of play.....
the jag tech guy on here says my car has "prone to wear" bearings so both need doing....
annie from the tool dept is sending out the abs tool this week and my beloved 308 is in for remedy and hopefully mot next tuesday so will have spent its only week off the road in 11 years :?

drove home in my beautiful double wheel bearing transplant 8 with nice shiny new MOT in hand......then came home and taxed it
I can jump to new highs now as I am considerably lighter..... :?

now it is for the tensioner thingies
