Accurate XJR100 Info plea...

Hi there one and all,
I'm lucky enough to own a 2002 XJR100 which is in good condition at around 83k miles. It's currently in for some work that I am unable to do myself, and when back will be undertaking several family/fun trips. Does anyone out there have the true RHD quantity produced (I believe it to be 89 of the 500) and can the VIN Number indicate which chassis of the 89 mine would be in terms of production run....I contacted Heritage and they said they could not tell from the VIN number.... I'm also in the market for an XKR100 Coupe (preferably) if anyone knows of one .......Many thanks in advance if you are able to assist.

As far as I know Jaguar Heritage are correct in what they are telling you regarding an individual build number.

I have heard suggestions of 81, 87 and 89 official UK RHD XJR100's being produced.

I am compiling a database of all the UK XJR 100 models, would you be willing to provide some further information about your 100 so that it can be added? All information will be kept private.

Good luck hunting for a XKR100, they are rare to find, a coupe version went for around £9000 at a classic car auction a month or two ago and I recall a convertible version also being sold recently. The XJR100 whilst still rare (possibly more so) appear for sale more often.
