Correct Handbooks for 1999 XJR

Hello everyone,
I’ve just bought a 1999 XJR and was wondering if anyone could help in telling me what are the correct handbooks and wallet(s) that it should have. The one that is with it is black pvc and I’m not sure it contains all the various handbooks. I’ve seen some on EBay with the black pvc and a green leather wallet? Any help gratefully received.

Hi Geoff,

I can't say for 1999 MY, but my '98 XJR came with a black plastic wallet containing: Driver's Handbook, Vehicle Care, Total Care, Maintenance Schedules, Service & Warranty Record, Sales & Service International Directory, Sound System, Security System and, finally, In-Car Telephone.

There is also a Quick Reference Guide (to familiarize the driver with the layout of vehicle controls) plus a Safety Advice Card (ABS, airbags & seatbelts etc).

All of the above are factory documents and came in that black plastic wallet.
