Hi all,

Joined a while ago, but only recently bought a car. A 2002 plate Daimler lwb XJ8 in anthracite black and 62k miles.

I would like to get the underside re-undersealed and have found these guys in Cheltenham:
http://www.pcmworkshop.com/

Anyone any experience of them? Or in fact anyone good nearer to Exmouth?

Any advice from members welcome.

Clive.

Hi Clive,
It may be worth trying your local region for some good local advice.

http://www.jec.org.uk/regions/uk/2/devon.html.

The Devon region are very active and have good local contacts so may be able to offer some more precise advice for you.

Hi stenatko,

Thank you for this, yes have joined Devon region. I progressed the work with http://www.pcmworkshop.com/ anyway. A very good job has been done. Pictures taken before and after (will be emailed to me). Will post some later when they arrive.

In my view, well worth looking at PCM Workshop if you want rustproofing and undersealing; black Waxoyl used, and they insist on keeping car until it is dry underneath. Apparently a releasing the car too early a common problem, I am told.
