I picked up an an X308 XJR in Aquamarine, and it is absolutely amazing. It has done 73000 miles but feels absolutely as new.
I did look at a couple of others that had higher miles on them, and if I had not tried the one that I had ended up getting I would have believed that was how they all were, which was excellent, but the ride quality on the one I went for was just so much better.
It is very difficult to resist just going out for a drive in it all the time.
I've got it booked in for a service and some new rear tyres next week and i'm interested to feel how much difference some fresh tyres will make.
The strange thing was, until a few weeks ago I was not even looking to replace my existing car, but for fun my boss set a challenge at work to see who could find the best collection of 5 interesting cars for £10,000. It was during this I was amazed and how little money would get me such an amazing car. After that I started doing some research into them and a couple of weeks down the line picked up my own XJR.
