Fair or unfair

Postby joejag308 » Mon Sep 22, 2008 7:48 am

As we seem to be a bit on the quiet side in the forum... The never ending tricks to catch motorists is always taking new twists and turns.........i came across one recently on a motorway.
While you think you are in sort of comfort mode just toodling along (not putting any pedal to the metal) sort of driving, catching a glimpse of something up above made me look at the bridge i was going under and there, not fully on the bridge was one of England's finest, open windows looking as if he was taking pictures. So the first reaction was to slam on the brakes, not too fast but i couldn't say whether it was over 70 or not.
So its then slow down time just in case, good job as five miles further down at another bridge there was another one, in full view but without the colours just a plain white one and he was taking pictures.
So be warned after the first you tend to relax about thinking you have just missed the first and not expecting the second its a bad day if you get done twice in a five mile distance. As if we don't have enough problems with fixed cameras, we now have the dirty tricks to put up with..........any other tricks to watch out for?????.........Joe

simple answer is....dont speed,

and never ' slam ' your brakes on, even for ' just in case ' as the accident you could cause for your lack of knowing your speed could cause a fatal accident.....

not only are they taking speed readings, but more importantly checking registrations against the data base, seeing if you have MOT and tax but also insurance, the honest motorist has nothing to fear, in fact i feel more secure that they are taking offenders off the road and even crushing their cars.

would you want to be hit by an un-insured driver who's car wouldnt pass an MOT....i wouldnt...

i fully support them....

just my thoughts
