After market tyre pressure sensors

Hi, thinking of fitting external tyre pressure sensors to my 1998 xk8. I check the pressures regularly but feel Bluetooth type sensors would be a good safety feature.
Anyone got experience of fitting them and any recommendations would be good. Thanks Mike

Yes, I have used them previously, worked well, loads on eBay to choose from.

Hello Folks
Yes worth all the reassurance they give, Tyre-pal have been reliable for me on both my Jags and Caravan whilst towing. Easy to fit in place of the valve dust covers and set up.

Do the wheels require re-balancing after fitting these sensors in place of valve caps?

If you don't mind buying Chinese.
I might give these a go, from the Chinese county of Yorkshire;
It doesn't take up any windscreen space.

I put the display unit in right hand side windscreen where it’s fairly unobtrusive. Seems to work ok for £20.

There are several on eBay currently as above just type TPMS in search bar. Not sure what make is, suspect they are all the same, Chinese needless to say…

Update: still working ok in terms of displaying pressure, couple of issues:
1. Display not bright, in sunlight hard to see
2. The solar panel which is supposed to keep unit charged is pretty rubbish, so either connect it to switched live feed or plug it in once a week to give it a boost.
You get what you pay for…
