XK8 minor paint repair

I've got a little rust starting to form along the bodywork at the bottom of the rear number plate on my 2005 XK8. I plan to sort this along with a few other minor scratches. The colour code is PEF but there seem to be a number of black colours that go with this e.g. midnight black, ultimate black, etc.- can anyone shed any light on this or if I give the reg. to one of the online suppliers is this enough to fix the colour? Also any recommendations on the best touch up paint suppliers?

I'm assuming you have got the Paint Code from the label by the LHS Door Striker. It also has the VIN & Trim Code
Colour Code PEF is for Midnight (Ultimate Black is PEL)
You should be able to order a Touch Up Paint (brush) from a Jaguar Main Dealer or the likes of SNG Barratt
I believe there are companies that can provide a spray can (rattle can) to the Jaguar Colour
If in doubt quote your VIN
