Catalytic converters

My post on converting 4.0L catalytic converters for the 4.2L engine did not get any replies. Anyone know where to get cats for the 4.2L engine (2005 XK8 X100)

The specialist breakers which advertise in Jaguar Enthusiast are always a good source for second hand items like catalysts. New non-standard cats are available in high flow form for improved performance but they carry a risk of Mot failures so it's often better to stick with standard items, new or second hand. Mike.

Hi Paul,
There is some info on 4.2 Cats in this post, don't know if you've seen it:
viewtopic.php?f=291&t=10163
Then there are these guys who sell 4.2 Catalytic Converters for your car:
https://www.paramount-performance.com/j ... -pair.html
But thats a performance upgrade and exspensive
Here are a few other threads that might have some info:

Thanks for the replies. I see Paramount cats are an upgrade which is an option. Also one of the links was to an advertisement for a pair of used cats one of which was just the cat shell - to be filled by the purchaser. I have heard that this can be done but haven't found by whom. The shells of my cats are fine - does anyone know who can replace the insides?
